Scott James’ Parents say their son is a victim of “Subo Factor”

Author: Scott James’ mum and dad, Sharon and Ken, think that Scott was eliminated to avoid the controversy over what happened with Susan Boyle, according to an article in today’s Daily Mirror.
Scott, who has from Asperger’s syndrome, forgot the words to his song during bootcamp, which was shown on the television this weekend. It has also emerged that Scott, 22, had suffered from panic attacks before failing to make the final 24.
Scott’s singing coach Linzi Hunter told the Mirror: “It might have been different if he’d come along before Susan. I think they were worried how he’d cope with the live shows – but his future still looks good.”

I agree that Scott will do great! I think he’s very talented.
As a Susan Boyle fan, though… I think it’s important to point out that Susan Boyle never had any problems with the live shows – either on television or the tour. She didn’t win, but sang IDAD better than she ever had on the final for a standing ovation. Then, she did 22 live tour shows.
Her problem came from the massive media attention that she initially had to handle totally on her own, coupled with the name calling and mocking of the tabloids.
Actually, I wonder if Simon would have given Scott a chance to begin with without Susan to lead the way.
Anyway, congratulations to Scott and I look forward to following his career.

I’ve been watching your video’s and your performace of Don’t stop believen is outstanding ! You were at ease and having so much fun. Please don’t give up and please keep putting music out there. If you remember Alexandra Burke had to try again.
